SEASON 2012/2013

After a tough first season leading the Threes Xander Munro is continuing his captaincy into the 2012/2013 season.

As one of only two third teams in the league, the 2011/2012 season was a challenging one that ultimately ended in relegation into Division Three of the Salford University North West Intermediate Leagues. Plagued by inconsistencies in the squad and some talented opposition the season never really got off the ground and they often found themselves on the end of some hefty defeats. However, towards the end of the season the team came together and put up some excellent performances, resulting in a real bond developing between the players.

The 2012/2013  season sees a new a new league for us and a new set of challenges. However through the strong sense of camaraderie developed last season and new players coming into the team, there is a real sense of the 2012/2013 will be a far more competitive and successful one for all involved.
